Por un lado, nos topamos con la herencia colonial en su casco histórico, testimonio de un proceso de conquista que borró parte de nuestro pasado. Dicen la leyenda que este exquisito dulce fue inventado por algún ingenioso habitante de esta desbordada parroquia. Su innovación y singular sabor es producto del contraste. Todo empieza al intentar hacer un rollo de canela sin canela; se suplanta la especie hindú por el anís.
